Do you have an entry list for that race? I couldn't find it anywhere. During this event runners can qualify to Olympics?

Entry lists are here.

Women’s race 07:00 UK time, men’s 10:00.

The qualification period doesn't recommence until 1st December, so the answer to your last question is no. Next year's London marathon will count towards qualification though.

Not according this article

https://runningmagazine.ca/the-scene/world-athletics-amends-olympic-qualification-timeline-for-road-athletes/

I was asking about that exact event, maybe there is an exception, you know, in this year everything can happen and nothing more will not shocked me :d

If qualifications for "stadium" events will resume at 1st December then the results achieved at indoor events will be counted to qualifications as well?

Yeah, cause the Walking Quals opened a couple of weeks back & I thought marathons were the same.  Would be a bit crazy to miss one of the peak periods.

I think they went back on their decision. The qualifying window reopened on 1 September, but only for „pre-identified, advertised and authorised races being staged on World Athletics certified courses, with in-competition drug testing on site“.

London should be good with Bekele vs. Kipchoge.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

Why is it so hard for major marathons to have a somewhat decent start list (the document, I mean) available? London is tomorrow morning and still all I can find are news articles, nothing official where there's a simple list with runners, which is what I want when watching.

World record (women’s only race) pace at halfway in London.  Cold & wet though.  Brigid Kosgei & Ruth Chepngetich contending.

Falling off the pace now, more of a tactical race.  Getting a bit confusing because there are now lapped runners cluttering the place up.

Incidentally, the comms are talking about Olympic Qual times, so it must be valid.

Kosgei now running solo for the win.

The oldest annual European and 2nd oldest annual marathon in the world just started its 97th edition https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Košice_Peace_Marathon.

The organizers succeeded to run the event also this year, even if they had to deal with huge problems with the covid 19 pandemic and strict measures in the country. Only 200 athletes will start this year and the track is a behind closed doors in the main street (4.2km) they will run 10 laps

At least this year we will have very likely a slovak winner :p

Brigid Kosgei wins

Sarah Hall :USA puts in an amazing last 1k sprint finish to get second!  Chepngetich a bit shell-shocked to get beaten into third after being second for so long.

    • so, the 2025 season is officially over, after the World Cup Finals have been completed with the Shotgun events, where (once again!!!) a new format for the final stage of each event has been experimented for the first time (before it becomes a regular feature in the next season)   the new format enlarge the starting field in each event's final stage to 8 shooters and dramatically shortens the number of target shots to decide the placings   the only characteristic remaining is the progressive eliminations principle   now, as written above, 8 shooters make the final, where after only 12 targets the eliminations start: by then, the last 2 shooters must leave the competition (7th and 8th ranked)   after 12 more targets (24 in total), 2 more shooters have to leave the final (5th and 6th ranked)   then, the crazy carousel starts: every 4 targets we have a new elimination  so, after 28 targets, the 4th ranked shooter is done; after 32 targets the bronze medallist is known and after only 36 targets (provided there's no need for a shoot-off), compared to the previous 60, the gold and silver medallists are crowned   I guess the tiktok people with the attention span of a chinchilla have won once again
