BMX Freestyle at the Urban Cycling UCI World Championships 2019

Recommended Posts

So, I was checking the start list to BMX Freestyle's final tomorrow, and Anthony Jeanjean :FRA is the only cyclist from a country out the Olympic Ranking in the final. Then, it's pratically assecurated his quota to the Olympics. Once the Olympic Ranking is almost defined with :RUS:USA:JPN:VEN:GBR:AUS getting quotas through it.  Kenneth Fabian from :CRC is the second highest cyclist and he is also, pretty close to get the second ticket to Tokyo.

On the women's competition there are five cyclists disputing directly the Olympic quotas in the final. They are representing :FRA:ESP:CHI:ARG:AUS

Women, according to the UCI Site:

1. Hannah Roberts :USA

2. Macarena Perez Grasset :CHI

3. Charlotte Worthington :GBR

Quota Places for :USA and :CHI. And depending on who will win the ranking quotas ( :USA for sure) next in line are in that order :GBR:GER:SUI:AUS:FRA:ARG

Men's result

1. Brandon Loupus :AUS

2. Martin Logan :AUS

3. Nick Bruce :USA

Quota places right now for :AUS and :USA. Next in line after the ranking quotas are distributed (and considering that :JPN has the host quota) are :RUS:VEN:GBR:FRA:CRC:ECU

Womens' competition it's not defined yet. Once the Olympic Ranking may be a few changes till the last update. However, the Olympic quotas through this championship likely go to Macarena Perez :CHI and Natalya Diehm :AUS

The same situation at men's competition.Very probably Anthony Jeanjean:FRA get his quota. The second may go to Daniel Dhers :VEN or Kenneth Fabian :CRC. Eventually both will get their quotas through Olympic Ranking, this championship or the extra spot if Japan qualifies by Olympic Ranking.

Man the men’s 26 trials competition was awesome. I really enjoy watching trials. You can’t go wrong watching cycling, it’s all good.

Not nearly enough countries, but it should be in something like the Urban Games or World Games. I don’t know what the UCI has against the World Games, but it’s a shame they won’t like these disciplines try there luck there. Trails would be a great inclusion at something like the European Championships or European Games too.

My definition of awesome is decidedly different from this. This makes no sense to me as a sport, really. Even kinball seems more interesting.

Alright captain positivity :p. Trials reminds me a lot of climbing and a few other sports I love, so that may be why I like it. It’s also just something rather unique, and it’s fun to see the crazy things people can do with a bike. Kinball is king of course. It seems to formed a sort of cult presence on the forum :d

    • (Quiet gaming, zero social pressure, no calls, no KYC… just peace.) As someone who’s definitely on the introverted side, I’ve always hated anything that feels intrusive — long registrations, support calls, verification uploads, or sites that spam you into interacting. So over the past year, I tested a bunch of crypto casinos specifically to see which ones are introvert-friendly: ✔ no forced KYC ✔ fast payouts (so no long back-and-forth with support) ✔ clean, quiet UI ✔ no pop-ups and no social pressure ✔ easy deposits ✔ minimal interaction needed Below is what actually worked for me. ⭐ My Top Crypto Casinos for Introverts (Real Testing Results) Casino Why It’s Introvert-Friendly Speed Link JackBit Quiet UI, no KYC, instant payouts 7 min 👉 Play at JackBit BetWhale Low-pressure bonuses, simple layout 14 min 👉 Play at BetWhale BitStarz Fast cashouts, no forced conversations 9 min 👉 Play at BitStarz ThunderPick Clean minimalist design 18 min 👉 Play on ThunderPick 7Bit Casino Extremely chill, no notifications 22 min 👉 Play at 7Bit 1. JackBit – The Most Comfortable Casino for Quiet Players If you’re introverted like me, JackBit is basically perfect. BetWhale – Best for Quiet Bonus Hunters BetWhale surprised me — their bonuses are generous without requiring chats, emails, or ID checks. Why it works for introverts: Wagering progress updates silently No pushy pop-ups The whole site feels “low-pressure” Support never contacts you unless you message first It’s a very low-interaction platform.   👉 Play at BetWhale (Smooth & Simple) 3. BitStarz – Fast Payouts Means Less Interaction BitStarz is great if you want to deposit, play, withdraw and leave — quick and efficient, no conversations needed. What I like: Withdrawals are some of the fastest online No random KYC prompts if you use crypto Very stable gameplay (no need to contact support) A calm, mature-feeling interface Perfect for players who like things to “just work.”   👉 Play at BitStarz (Quick & Quiet Gaming) 4. ThunderPick – Best for Introverts Who Like Betting Too ThunderPick has one of the smoothest, cleanest interfaces I’ve used. Everything is intuitive and visually quiet — no clutter, no noise. Introvert-friendly perks: Great for casual betting without chat rooms Mobile interface is extremely calm No forced community features You can switch between casino & sports without talking to anyone     👉 Play on ThunderPick (Minimalist Interface) 5. 7Bit – The Chillest, Quietest Crypto Casino 7Bit feels like a casino designed for people who want to be left alone. Why I recommend it: No aggressive marketing No forced KYC unless you use fiat Huge game library with silent browsing Simple cashier with no need for support interactions It’s a very relaxed environment.   👉 Play at 7Bit (Totally Low-Pressure) Final Thoughts — The Introvert’s Casino Shortlist If you want a quiet, private gaming experience without feeling watched, talked to, or pressured: 🏆 Best Overall for Introverts: JackBit 🏆 Best Quiet Bonus Experience: BetWhale 🏆 Fastest Stress-Free Payouts: BitStarz 🏆 Best Minimalist UI: ThunderPick 🏆 Most Chill Game Library: 7Bit
    • It's not a coincidence that a lot of the matches that are earlier in the day are in Atlanta and Houston and Dallas where they have roofs.  And most of the games in the outdoor stadiums are later in the day.
    • The best athletes will all be there anyway – it's easier to get a spot in the top 10-15. Only the great champions were ahead of Gismondi today.
    • They are not "oppressed enough" to be mention here.
    • And remember the Olympic Paradox - it is slightly easier to get a medal at the Olympics than at a World Cup because in the Olympics the numbers of racers from the powerful nations are capped at 4.
    • Jimmy Mariano  basketball. 84 years old.   Member of the Philippine men’s basketball team at the 1972 Summer Olympics. Flag bearer for the Philippine delegation at those Games.
    • Franchi had a similarly impressive performance at the 2023 World Championships on the same distance but later she completly missing. I hope that with Gismondi will be different, especially since she was already a great talent in her junior years. The problem in Italy is that for the past 15 years, aside from Pellegrino, there has been a miss of stability in other athletes: there are some booms of excellent form, but later they disappear. I also worry that funding for cross-country skiing will be cut after the Cortina Olympics.
    • The last day was a great success, for first. Secondly, even 20 medals are fewer than the 22 from 2023 and 34 from 2021
