There could be three our jumpers on podium today but ofc cheating judges have to put Kraft above our boys. Geiger wins. Kubacki is third, while Stoch and Żyła takes together 4th place...

That is pure history right there! I know she's competing for Austria, but Kramer is born in the Netherlands - not far from where I live actually - and moved to Austria with her family when she was 11. This move was shown in a Dutch TV program apparently, which follows families that move to other countries. My parents remembered her mom dying pretty soon after they made the move to Austria, so that's rather sad.

Dutch federation advisor has said Kramer has always been on their radar and she's always welcome to come back, but I doubt that'll happen :p

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.

    • option no.2 for sure, as it's been all this shitstorm organized by the nhl owners through their embedded reporters   ps not that the north american audience looks really aware of the hockey rules and habits outside the nhl (and around their game, too, since they look not to know that just a couple of weeks ago they played 2 nhl matches on an ice sheet of the exact same size of Milan's olympic arena)
