It's actually easy to explain... they hosted the euro U19 (so no grueling qualifiers to go thru) and then only defeated weak teams like Romania and Austria.

I can't believe that this Nigerian team that defeated Italy and Argentina home barely defeated Egypt 1-0 in CAN U20 and we wasted a lot of chances in this game
