Lotte Lie, who switched from Norway to her mother's Belgium, making her World Cup debut with 20/20 :cheer:

According to our in-the-know Brazilian member she's very kind, so I'm cheering for her :cheer:

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Well, did one for the men, so it's fair to also do one for the women's individual and see if we're gonna get another long list of successful athletes:

Third best result for Julia Schwaiger from Austria in 19th

Personal best for another Austrian, Christina Rieder in 21st

World Cup debut for Belgian Lotte Lie in 53rd

Third best result for Canadian Emma Lunder in 10th position.

Second best result for Canadian Nadia Moser in 79th

Second World Cup start for Emily Dickson of Canada and 83rd place

World cup debut for Chinese Ying Qu in 85th

Another Chinese Hongru Chen also started in her first race ever and finished 99th

Second best result for German Janina Hettich, finished in 26th place

Third best result for Italian youngster Michela Carrara in 59th place

Second best performance for Latvian Julija Matvijenko in 93rd place

Personal best result for Karoline Erdal of Norway in 78th

Personal best for Polish Anna Maka in 71st

Second best result for Ana Larisa Cotrus of Romania in 97th

Second best result for Larisa Kuklina of Russia in 13th

Third best result for another Russian Kristina Reztsova in 27th

A personal best for Swiss sister Aita Gasparin, finishing in high 9th place

Personal best result for Veronika Machyniakova of Slovakia in 70th

World cup debut for Anna Hedstrum of Sweden in 88th

Second best result for Clare Egan of USA in 6th

That's definitely a very long list of good racing for a lot of these women. Seems like the individual is a forgiving format in reaching personal bests :)

Met her in the IBU Cup in Arber, another example of a very friendly athlete :d Not the best English in the world (but probably a lot better than most Chinese people), but througout the weekend there I don't think I've seen her walk or talk without a big smile. Worth an extra cheer :cheer:

Great to see her make her World Cup debut (well, individually, she already was in a relay a few weeks ago), hopefully she can keep improving!

IBU should have a standard thing showing which athletes maker their WC debut in a given race, that's good to watch.

@RobtheAggie  should be satisfied :p

Really happy for her . Her family is nice and dedicated. I can already hear her mom losing her shit
