With Ofterschwang off I don't see her coming back tbh. Though she can easily make up 200 pts on Brignone with the two slaloms left. Same goes for Vlhova obviously.

If Brignone somehow still leads the overall before the Cortina slalom would she be allowed to start in the slalom there? She's 30 pts off Top 25 in slalom standings so she'd need a huge result in Are to qualify by default.

Brignone is already allowed to start every race she wants in the finals...all the skiers with 500+ points in the general standings are automatically qualified for all 4 final races despite their discipline ranking...

Oh, yes. I forgot about the FIS total points crap. The lack of all-arounders makes it almost extinct these days.

Zubčić can do no wrong.

All those years spent on soft Croatian snow are paying off. Now we have soft snow on the Alps, while Croatia has no snow at all. :d

The next seasons planned grand return of the world cup to Slovakia in Jasná was just moved from the originally schedulled 16-17 January 2021 to 6-7 March 2021.

FIS asked our federation and the organizing committee if we agree, obviously FIS think Slovakia will be the only country having snow in that period or what, which is obviously a no problem in the Tatras...even today we have so much snow that we can immediately host the winter olympics :p

Cortina finals are canceled from what i'm reading. The organizers proposed starts with no spectators, but all the teams rejected the idea. BS decision. No chance for Shiffrin to make a comeback now. Can't decide if this will help Kilde or Pinturault now. If only Kilde hadn't blown the SG last week
