Pretty pleased with Gudžius coming in third,Stahl made this more competitive than expected, and most enjoyably to me,Mykolas retains his world lead, can't wait till he finally faces off with Ceh on July 2

Not that much news but Tomasz Majewski confirmed Duplantis & Crouser will take part in Chorzów DL on July 16th. Poland is probably one of the very few countries that actually pays attention to shot put in athletics :p

Does anyone know what the story was with the women's high jump at the DL meeting in Rabat?

On the live results, Morgan Lake was initially shown as having cleared 1.91m at the first attempt and from the BBC coverage, the on screen caption seemed to back that up but then the results website showed xxx against 1.91 and the Power of 10 website used in UK to track performances is only crediting her with 1.87

Yeah, I noticed that also, I suppose it's easy for the screen graphics to be wrong.

Just now, Josh said:

Dodging Kerley again

It's a bit embarassing. If he's really not fit he should stop entering meets so it doesn't look like he's dodging.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
    • Today : Jordan 3-0 Egypt  This team will surprise us
