In Italy no anyone will bordcast Skate Canada... Anyone have a streaming (without needing VPN)?

I just noticed that the ISU ended their partnership with Eurovision :(. Check their YouTube channel (just use random locations until one works)

Well that sucks, mostly for the other sports than figure skating in my case..

ISU official youtube channel is broadcasting Grand Prix this season with no commentary...

Apparently the deal with Eurovision failed, so this was a last-ditch effort to keep skating available to the masses...

Incredibly sad they don't have a European-wide broadcasting deal...

It's incredibly difficult to watch figure skating in the United States, too.

From what I read, a deal also failed with CBC, which sounds quite astonishing.

However, it's good to see that ISU very much intends to keep skating available to everyone. Apparently their youtube channel will also broadcast speed skating and short track events and championships. At least until some deal is made.

Not if you pay the $40 Ice Sports pass for NBC. However if you want to watch all Skiing and Biathlon, you will of course need the $70 Snow Pass for NBC. You will also need a cable TV provider to gain access to either meaning th watch winter sports in the US, you pay around $300 a season

Well aware, paid the 70$ for the snow pass last season. It was a sub-par product at best, sticking to Eurosport this season.

    • Hope so (for my adopted country, Norway, that is). Torino 2006 was the first Winter Olympics I followed closely and it was nothing short of a disaster for Norway. Strangely enough, that was actually the reason I became an avid fan of Norwegian winter sports and have been ever since. As for my actual home country, Greece, a medal for Ginnis in slalom (alpine skiing) would be a miracle.
