Definitely not, watched that as well Friday :d

Mostly looking forward to the marathon next week though, that's definitely her main thing.

Oh, I was just thinking since you weren’t sharing anything about it in the thread at the time that you weren’t watching, but I guess I was mistaken :d

Yeah, Friday I was just trying to stay on my feet, quite a fever, feeling super cold and bloody hot at the same time, dizzy and so on, watched Aline's heat before stepping back into bed and didn't really care about watching anything else that day :p

Luckily it's a lot better now, so I can enjoy the day more or less as normal.

Oksana Zubkovska just won her 5th consecutive gold in women's long jump at the age of 41. She's just fenomenal woman, who tried to convince doctors that she is healthy at her junior age. :hearts:

:UKR Sheremet with back-to-back Paralympic 4th’s in women’s PR1 single sculls :(

Damn, that’s heartbreaking.

Incredible drama though, with a huge last 200m charge from :FRA

:ITA Giacomo Perini, who originally won bronze in men’s PR1 single sculls, were found to be using communication equipment during the final and has been excluded from the event (ranked dead last) :coffee:

Italy will raise it to Jury.

Perini's cellphone was in the bag which was kept in the boat. It was not intentional as per him.

Favourites :AUS completely mess up against :JPN in the wheelchair rugby semi.  Score was 47-47 with.a minute on the clock. Aussies wanted to hold possession, run out the clock & score with a couple of secs to go.  First part worked, but then they gave up a turnover, :JPN took it to overtime & won!

    • I think they incorrectly translated Ukrainian word "nahorody" - it is not a full synonym of "medal". Its cocrrect translation is "award". Meanwhile russian tennis playes switched for Potapova ->  Rakhimova ->
    • Ukrainian diver Lyskun switches allegiance to Russia, loses all medals | Olympics News | Al Jazeera   'loses all medals'   I would assume Al Jazeera could have been a bit clearer and mention this would presumably only be national medals. I mean, it's not like the Ukrainian federation, or any single federation for that matter, has the power to strip her of her world and European championships medals I hope (not for her sake, but because that would be a super weird precedent)
