I'm confused, they have nothing to do with gender equality. Get your analogies straight... dcro and Jur

I'm pretty sure NBC would just put commercials instead of live coverage of their efforts Does NBC even show anything that doesn't include US athletes to begin with? Monzanator 4,218 Posted March 15, 2021 #575 Share Posted March 15, 2021 We all know 2032 host will be Brisbane. Just cut the bullshit. Four years of artificial crap. Hail to the transparency!

Monzanator 4,218 Posted March 23, 2021 #577 Share Posted March 23, 2021 I don't see lacrosse getting to Olympics. It's even more elitist sport than cricket We have women's hockey for the all-too-predictable finals in women's hockey. Who needs another USA vs Canada final in lacrosse? Vektor 3,289 Posted March 23, 2021 #578 Share Posted March 23, 2021 Americans should be happy if they will have baseball/softball back in the program for 2028, adding two team sports for them would be too much.

Agenda 2020 allows host cities/countries to add a few sports they want to grow locally, or that are popular in the host nation. Lacrosse isn’t a bad candidate as it does have a good audience in the United States. It’s not all that popular on the West Coast though (it’s more of an East Coast thing). Personally, I’d like to see Skateboard, Surfing, Sport Climbing, and Flying Disc (Team Ultimate) added to the program under that clause. I know there’s been movements to add Lacrosse, Cricket, Baseball/Softball, and Cheerleading (among other sports) as well. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. Lacrosse would be a waste of time just like the ballet skiing at 1992 Olympic Games. How did that "sport" grow in the last 30 years?
