Both cities are great choices, but i strongly disagree with the procedure of IOC

Versailles (not that bad either ). And yes, OW swimming and triathlon will be held in the Seine. Rowing and Canoeing will be held in a designated stadium on the outskirts of the city (allready beeing build and which should open next year).

 

Outside, of temporary sites, hhe only imortant venues to be build are the Aquatic Center and the secondary Bercy venue..

Pretty much as official as it can be before the IOC session in Lima, where it's supposed to be ratified.

Versailles is a great location too of course, but i remember the "Paris Eiffel Jumping" in front of the Eiffel tower and its one of the best locations ever in equestrian for me. On the other hand they couldnt host the eventing competition there, so its probably better to have all in one place. Glad to here that open water and triathlon will take place in the Seine, should be spectacular.

Wouldn't say for sure, though it's without doubt good for their chances. Ju-jitsu and orienteering will without doubt find it interesting as well!
