grabs the duet quota, although it’ll probably get reallocated to  after the team event.

wins the quota by about 0.6 points    Closer than I expected it to be.  given the upper hand in the acrobatic routine.

Surprising, how? Mexico is (IMO) the number one artistic swimming nation in the Pan Americas right now, going off recent results. You could make a case for the United States also though. 
 

Anyways, duet quota now gets reallocated to :USA

United States won two of the three routines, so it is a rather close battle between the two at the moment.
