The Goal: Beat Slovenia to be the best Slov-nation and avoid last place :d, Every single place above 15th place will be a success in other words - Top 14.

Goal(s) achieved.

Best Slov-nation and Top 14 :d

13th place at the end, which is better than last time. Even Top 12 was not so far and with some good portion of luck (which is usually an unknown element in Slovak sport overall) who would have known what would have happened.

5 Games, 3 wins (Twice against Slovenia in the Group and today´s 13th Place Game and against Israel in the 13th-16th Semifinals) and 2 Losses (to the Netherlands and Romania in the Group)

So at the end, not great, not bad. Possible to do more I am pretty sure about, but also possible to do worse I fear... so, ok-ish result at the end :p

I wonder what happened with the greeek team in the last two periods (0-4, 2-4)? :(

We led 6-5 at halftime and then totally collapsed, Croatia then went up 6-13 and we scored two goals at the end

It's still crazy that we have 4 World Championships medals and none at the European Championships, even though it is basically the same opponents in both.

It's a good thing we already qualified for the Olympics, and still have the World Championships and Olympics later this year, so hopefully we can get back on the podium very soon.

So it’ll be :CRO v. :ESP in the gold medal match, also battling for the one available ticket to Paris. :HUN v. :ITA for bronze.

Italy's victory is an easy one, very decisive and never in question, despite still missing a quarter. The Italian national team could benefit from a good psychologist.

    • It's hard to believe it was still in this calendar year
    • In last year, we were were happy with Brignone's wins, and today we're excite that della Mea is in the top 10... It's hard to imagine a bigger fall... And Goggia should give up on the giant slalom and focus on the speed events – Vonn isn't wasting time on the giant slalom, but is training for downhill and SG. Goggia last one finished on the podium in the giant slalom in march 2018, and she has no any chance of winning an Olympic medal at the regular competition. It's a waste of time and energy to finish 8th or 9th and risk injury. And we have to accept that without Brignone, we have no chance of winning a medal in the giant slalom in Cortina, and that's it.
    • yeah, just like Anna Trocker earlier Today   I think this is the best way to blow them    they're not ready for the world cup stage yet, but we're so bad right now that our coaches are digging deep
    • Some surprises and fun results so far at this year's Worlds. Like a few minutes ago, when  Harrysson made the 1/8 with another very good performance. Now he plays Jonny Clayton, who this afternoon made a stellar performance in a tough battle with Zonneveld. I don't see an easy match for Clayton, even though on paper he would have wished such an opponent for a 1/8 before the tournament.   Also i'm delighted that my fav Gary Anderson seems to be in good form, though at his age, he is prone to sudden bad matches at any time.
