no poland faces great britain in the semi-finals

No Poland faces Czechia and GB play Belgium in the semi-finals. It's confusing because they list/play the quarter finals in the wrong order but Poland GB will very likely be the final here.

I feel like I should clear this up a bit.

The format of any of these 12 team rugby sevens tournaments after the pool stage is as follows.

Quarter-final 1- Winner pool A vs second best third placed team.

Quarter-final 2- Winner pool B vs best third place team.

Quarter-final 3- Winner pool C vs second pool A.

Quarter-final 4- Second pool B vs second pool C.

The confusing bit is that the semifinals are qf1 vs qf4 and qf2 vs qf3.

And yet that's not how the bracket matches are arranged at the HSBC Rugby 7s events.

Yes it is. What do you mean?

So in all 7 of the HSBC events, the bracket structure was

Quarterfinal 1: Winner pool B vs best third place team

Quarterfinal 2: Winner pool C vs second pool A

Quarterfinal 3: Second pool B vs second pool C

Quarterfinal 4: Winner pool A vs second best third placed team

And then semi finals would be winners of QF1 v QF2 and QF3 v QF4

Ye, I just looked at that. I'm fairly sure that is just the order they play them in and their actually called qf 1234 as I listed them above. I might be wrong though. Either way this doesn't make any difference. These are the same brackets just listed differently.

My original point wasn't about the order their listed/played in just trying to clean up the confusion on who plays who.
