Finally a semifinal for Mexico :d. After being so close in men’s 200 free and 100 breast, Maria Jose Cocco advances in women’s 200m fly, even if it was a reduced field.

15 different nations through to semis in men’s 100 free. Does anyone know if there’s ever been 16? I presume not but it’s too much for me to look up!

The 100 free is insane. I think it might be the only event where you need an OQT just to reach the Top16. And that's without Dressel and Milák.

18 swimmers achieved the OQT in the men's 800m freestyle heats yesterday. I think that's been the most inside heats so far
