I need confirmation of something: Sweden officially finishes higher than Finland in this tournament, right? I see in wikipedia they place Sweden 5th but I need to know if that will be official or if it's just a unofficial ranking.

Yes SWE 5. FIN 6.

i dont think there is so much surprise about germany, norway and also slovenia.

when top7 teams dont have nhl players in team, other countries are much closer in quality.

normally we probably wont beat usa and slovakia, but this year we did it cause we have only one player in nhl

For Germany, i think it's only  Kühnhackl , Reider ,Draisaitl & Seidenberg being the biggest NHL names

+ Grubauer, Greiss and Holzer.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

i think we'll also have a men's basketball tournament at next Olympics without NBA players

It's a bit harder to prevent them from going because it's the off-season.

But NBA directors want this much to happen and they can convince FIBA of doing so in order to see another champion other than USA to raise level of competition for gold

I heard they may try to make it a U23 tournament like in football. That would at least protect most of the NBA's top stars
