I do want Germany to win because who doesn't like an underdog.  But that would give them 15 gold which would break Canada's record.  Soooooooo...:mumble:

Well, Vancouver had only 86 events compared to Pyeongchang's 102. So Germany would need like 17 golds to break inflation adjusted record. Though I'm sure those 14 golds aren't the "real" record neither. :p

But honestly, who cares about medal table standings and medal records? :d

Awesome sports should be the priority..

That record isn't long for this world considering all the events being added anyway. Let Germany have it. I want the upset!

...obviously Germany winning would be highly irregular xD

You can call them bunny hop breaks for all I care, doesn't make them any less annoying :p

I duno, I really like bunnies.

Believe it or not, the TV breaks are a lot shorter here than in the NHL.

Best part of watching basketball at the Olympics vs the NBA is the lack of TV timeouts, too.

    • We have much more events and there may be no Russia in 2026 so most of the NOCs should improve. But not Poland i’m afraid

    • For sure better for  one silver - I think it was Shelly Rudman, Skeleton.  Can definitely improve on that.   Still remember it as a good games, though - think it was the first time I took two weeks off work to watch a Winter Games.

    • As a Montreal Canadien fan, I am in agreement. However, he is struggling recently and is demoted to the 4th line this week. Hoping he can turn it around.
