Neymar is beyond embarrassing, as a brazilian fan i would feel ashamed. I hope that Brazil will be eliminated in the next round by Belgium.

Willian was the best brazilian player for me. In my opinion France got more individual quality than Brazil, they are still the favorites, but of course Spain also had more individual quality than Brazil and still played like shit.

How does France have more quality than Brazil?

- the goalkeepers are pretty much the same level.

-Brazil has better and more secure CBs.

-in full backs is even but only because the best from Brazil are injured.

-Kante is a bit better than Casemiro and Fernandinho, but they are probably the best and second best in the world of that position.

-Paulinho and Coutinho are much better than Matuidi/Pogba.

-Neymar is better than Griezmann but Mbappe is better than William.

-Both Jesus and Firmino are leagues above Giroud.

All considered it's very similar with an slight advantage to Brazil in quality.

You forgot how to quote?

goalkeepers: Yes

CBs: No, not even close

full backs: Yes

Kante and Casemiro/Fernandinho are close, them being the best in the world in that position doesn't mean much as many teams don't value such a type of player

Paulinho and Matuidi are both shit, Pogba and Coutinho are completely different players

Mbappe has been better than both Neymar and William, Griezmann has been about on the same level

Jesus has been complete shit so far, certainly not better than Giroud

To sum it up: France has better CBs and Mbappe + Griezmann have both been better than all brazilian attackers (maybe except for Coutinho, but that would still give France the advantage). In addition to that France has clearly more depth, even without Coman, Lacazette, Martial, Rabiot.

It's about having a TEAM, not the best 11 individuals.

Brazil have often fallen because they couldn't build a team from otherwise superior players.

    • Alpine skiing also we have a lot of problems: the men's team is very weak and has been winning a few podiums a season for several years and the our best skier- Dominik Paris is 35. We still have a strong women's team but 3 of the 4 leaders are over 30 (Goggia, Brignone, Curtoni) and Bassino is 28. Another 2 years and we will have the same problem as the men's. There is basically no cross-country skiing without Pellegrino for many years, biathlon is based on 2 individuals with one of them has a 35 years. Vittozzi's injury was enough and we haven`t a single podium this season after 3 stages of the World Cup. As for 1 year to the home games the situation isn`t optimistic.
    • Hail to the Reds... Commanders. First time since 1991 Washington QB has thrown 5 TD passes in a game (which isn't all that improbable in the modern game alas Dan Snyder...)
    • Italy is much better in alpine skiing, in The end all Nations have a Limited Talent Pool. Norway is far better than Sweden/Finland in Cross-Country skiing, alpine skiing and Biathlon, but Sweden/Finland are far better in ice Hockey.  Great Britain wins far more medals than Germany At Summer olympics, but GB is also inexistant in Winter Sports and Most popular Team Sports (Volleyball, Handball, Basketball, Ich Hockey).

On The Mens side multiple Athletes (Perrot, Giacomel, Uldal) have already done it.   E.
