The era of Grotian has offically begun today. I am proud to say that i was one of the earliest to join the hype train.

 

She is still young enough to compete at the youth level this year (and too young to even compete at the junior world championships), but hopefully she will get a chance to compete at the senior world championships.

Very nice to see that our B team can still produce good enough results to get into top 40 at an IBU cup.

 

Really shows that the Lithuanian men's team has some depth and that there's barely anything separating our 4th and 7th best.

 

The only thing that Banys, Fomin, Romanov and Mačkinė need is to be able to challenge Kaukėnas and Dombrovski.

 

Hopefully the future of Lithuanian biathlon will be safe in their hands.

If I'm remembering correctly, Bourgeois Republique and Sanfilippo had announced retirement last season, nice to see them at the ibu cup.

 

With Sanfilippo's case, might even be invited to the world cup team after that win.

Anamarija Lampic finished 2nd in Mass Start 60 in Ridnaun despite 15/20 only 9 secs. behind Gilonne Guigonnat who had 20/20. Vanessa Hinz 4th with 16/20. Mona Brorsson 11th with 18/20.

Supersprint qualifying in Brezno is underway, and it all looks equally depressing as the winter sports competitions in Germany, Croatia and so on these days
