All surprising really. The pessimist in me refused to name any gold medal favorites and I thought max 15 to 16 medals.

Mitchell is in tough against the reigning world champ, but if she can power through her itll be better the next round.  Unfortunate that she qualified 2nd and now has to face the 3rd qualifier while 6th and 9th meet each other in the other semi.

In true Canadian fashion top 11 in overall and likely placement (depending on what Brazil does later today), just one spot out of the coveted top 10 (not that I am complaining, it's a fitting way to end the games.)
