World Cup Calendar:

 

1.  Stavanger - 11-13 November
2.  Heerenveen - 18-20 November
3.  Calgary - 9-11 December
4.  Calgary - 16-18 December
5.  Tomaszow Mazowiecki - 10-12 February
6.  Tomaszow Mazowiecki - 17-19 February

Two double headers, which we haven't seen in a while, if at all? And nothing in Asia or on the fast tracks of  Inzell or  Salt Lake City.

 

Major championships this year:

 

•  Quebec - Four Continents Championships - 2-4 December (right before the World Cups in Calgary)
•  Hamar - European Championships - 6-8 January
•  Heerenveen - World Championships - 2-5 March

 

Junior World Cup Calendar:

 

1.  Seinäjoki - 26-27 November (outdoor)
2.  Seinäjoki - 3-4 December (outdoor)
3.  Inzell - 4-5 February

The Junior World Championships will be from 10-12 February in  Inzell, together with the final senior World Cup event.

 

I'm wondering if  Jordan Stolz will compete in the senior World Cup finals where he could make good money if he managed to continue his strong form from last season, or in Inzell to compete for some world titles in his final year as a junior.

What a win from the 18 year old. A margin of 1.76 seconds to the number 2 is insane.

And another very convincing win, this time for  Kim, with a 0.51 lead over 500 meters.

Schouten lost her winning streak on the 3.000m as the home favorite  WIklund wins with yet again a convincing margin over the #2.

Yesterday  Marten Liiv won bronze on the men’s 1.000m in Heerenveen

And silver for Joep Wennemars, bronze for Isabel Grevelt....what a surprising day  

 

Also kind of weird to hear a Wennemars being interviewed without a major stutter
