Grassmarket 3,403 Posted March 10, 2023 #455 Share Posted March 10, 2023 Åre is where Stenmark recorded his record-equalling win in 1981 - matched the 62 of Annemarie Moser-Pröll.
Monzanator 4,499 Posted March 10, 2023 #456 Share Posted March 10, 2023 Gonna be a long birthday party weekend for Shiffrin. Of course Are is where she won her 1st ever World Cup event - slalom in December 2012. I believe Hansdotter led after the first run but like so many other times was forced to settle for 2nd place
heywoodu 15,135 Posted March 10, 2023 #457 Share Posted March 10, 2023 (edited) What's this thing I see in media/hear in commentary about Shiffrin "finally tying Stenmark's record!"? I mean, she's 27, how on earth is it a matter of 'finally'? Anyhow, nice tidbit, this 86th win Edited March 10, 2023 by heywoodu .
Monzanator 4,499 Posted March 11, 2023 #458 Share Posted March 11, 2023 Paula Moltzan advances into top slalom group. Liensberger after a horrendous season finally drops out.
Monzanator 4,499 Posted March 11, 2023 #459 Share Posted March 11, 2023 Liensberger almost 3 seconds slower than Shiffrin in 1st run. This is an utter joke. Why is she even competing this season? She has completely collapsed ever since winning the 2021 World Champs. Even Livio Magoni did nothing to solve her slump.
