:BRA Isaquias medal today was his first silver in World Championships, having already won 7 gold and 6 bronze medals.

He now has 14 World medals, losing only to Cielo (19), Scheidt (17), Grael (16) and Cunha (15) as our biggest medalists ever.

I think Cunha and Isaquias still have plenty of time to improve this ranking.

For a discipline that's getting the short end of a stick with the removal of two events, the variety in the 10 Olympic events is quite something. 7 gold medalist nations, 17 medalist nations, from all the continents with the exception of Africa.

Can't wait for Lisa Carrington and Aimee Fisher to pair up in the K2 and Aimee to join the K4 now the issues with Canoe Racing NZ is finally put to rest. The 2 young teenagers have time on their hands but that would've been a steep learning curve for them but clearly just lack a bit of experience.

If we are not even going to medal in the very few sports we are supposed to do, than it is going to be a hard Paris 2024 for us. That is for sure. That K4 final was one Enormous disappointment, hopefully the boys will wake up and fix it next year, only 6 boats will qualify to the Olympics, Highest time to set the alarm.

    • If this were Milan from 20 years ago, it would be a success but currently it`s just a European average team and on top of that it is not in top form. Milan's defense this season resembles Swiss cheese.
    • Bologna is unfortunately is a team for the Conference League, not the Champions League   Juventus are plagued by injuries and are struggling. On top of that they have a terrible schedule in the CL. In their case qualifying for the play-offs would be a success in this season but I'm not sure how many points they will need to do that. Actually they chave 8 points.
