At least it was safe from the Italian trap shooters! 😊 phelps

Not that we are anywhere close at grabbing one of the Pan American quotas, but getting rid of some competition is always good. We think alike. Every European quota won here reduces the competition at the next continental championships. Makedonas
Makedonas 2,155 Posted September 29, 2022 #44 Share Posted September 29, 2022 Chatzitsakiroglou 9th in the men's trap is not a bad result. He's very young, I hope he can qualify for Paris (which I have been expecting him to do!)

dcro 10,210 Posted September 29, 2022 #48 Share Posted September 29, 2022 Are these going to be the first ever predetermined double bronze medals at the Olympics outside of combat sports? It's worth noting that even the days of all the weird rules of Paris 1900 and St. Louis 1904 nobody thought about awarding two bronze medals just... because. #banbestmen

In Tokyo they had a shoot off for the bronze in the mixed team event so I would imagine the same will apply in Paris. Badminton, Tennis and Table Tennis all awarded two bronze medals in 1992 (and also in 1988 for Tennis). dcro
