nightmarish start of the skeet competitions for the Italian youngsters...nobody even qualified to the ranking match phase

Junior Mixed Team Skeet

 

Gold:  Great Britain (Sophie Herrmann & Mitchell Brooker-Smith)

Silver:  China 2 (Wang Dan & Zhang Haolei)

Bronze:  Italy 2 (Damiana Paolacci & Andrea Galardini) and  India 2 (Muffaddal Zahra Deesawala & Bhavtegh Singh Gill)

India currently on 1-1-1 ( and one quota place with a 4th in trap by bhowesh in his first ever senior championship ) ..... Suprising me they are performing so well ..... Well beyond my expectations.....  Shotgun has been our weak area..... So good to see

Mitas is 7th in the men's skeet with 97, hoping he can get us our first quota place here. Would be extra nice for him as he missed Tokyo despite being in London and Rio!
