As expected, we simply can't beat Spain in women's water polo. 5th place for us, a wake up call after the silver at the Worlds, getting the Olympic quota won't be that easy.

Hopefully they will keep at it for the crucial 5-8 playoffs...

I guess Spain will prove once again that they are the best team in Europe and that the Worlds was simply a fluke for them where they messed up the group stage. But who knows, maybe Greece can upset. But based on how this ECh went so far,  v  might have been the real final.

Nice to see our girls into the European Championships final for the 4th time in our history! 

 

Unfortunately we got silver the other three times (2010, 2012, 2018) and I don't think it will be different this time but I hope to be wrong.

 

Our national teams won 6 medals in 2021 and now 6 in 2022. So far all have been silver and bronze, no gold since the 2019 Men's Junior World Championships. It would be nice to finally win gold again
