Then they should not participate if they don't like it. :p Was there any other candidate?

No other candidates! Bit hypocritical of Norway and Denmark to vote against it and then not out themselves up for hosting it!

What's hypocritical about that?

 

I may not want a party of a group of friends to be at friend A's place, but that doesn't have to mean I want to host it myself..

And they should absolutely scratch swimming and athletics if otherwise it would be some B-competition again...better not have swimming at all than have a junior competition at the Games :p

C´mon The athletics was one of the highlights of Baku 2015.:d One of the most exciting event of the whole sport history, :d Everything was open untill the very lasts 4x400 relays, I remember this crazy mens relay and how Austria lost the baton...

Pity everything was later destroyed by a doped Azeri...

EG will always be a joke... It does not seem that it ever will get any respect and get in to same level as Pan American or Asian Games. Hopefully 2019 will be the last edition, otherwise we will be always stuck at Eastern part of Europe to host it.

It'a only the start.. All big events aren't the best in the frist edition. I hope that they'll continue to grow
