Linette played really well from the second set onwards. She led 4-2 in the third before losing that advantage and it looked like she will collapse in the end like she so often did before but somehow she broke for the match from 0-40 down. Jabeur really blew it with some wild overhands and it seemed like the pressure of being one of the GS favorites got to her.

Londero is not a bad player at all, Alcaraz is going to have some trouble with him for a first round match.

Straights barely breaking a sweat...

I'm 99% sure he won't lose a set until Nadal.

Yeah, showed up a fight only in the first set and then fizzled out pretty quick. Expected more..

You are very optimistic of Nadal beating Djokovic :d Especially with that mystery injury he has.

Well, I just hope Nadal doesn't win RG. Final between Alcaraz and Tsitsipas would be refreshing.

Those three BP Jabeur missed in the second set :( I really hoped she could reach QF at least :/

Another loss for Muguruza. How is she still ranked in the top 10? Just from her WTA Finals points?

Yeah, pretty much this. She also has USO 4th round and Chicago 500 victory. She's pretty much had three good tournaments in the last 10 months

:FRA Diane Parry takes out defending champion :CZE Barbora Krejcikova in three sets. Krejcikova was never going to be a factor since she played zero matches on clay due to injury but R1 loss still looks bad.
