Mario Alberto opens the tournament in a very classy way , what a shot and what a goal ! the hosts Al Ain is trailed by OFC Champions Wellington 2-0 in just 15 minutes

The opening match really didn't disappoint at all , 3-3 with 2 minutes to go , Wellington was leading 3-0 just before the end of 1st half

Didn't expect Al-Eye playing toe to toe with River Plate let alone winning it ! they also deserved a penalty in 1st half. clear handball but the ref rejected VAR's advise of calling that penalty.

I was expecting River would play bad today, they "partied" too much after the final the other day. Still, they had many chances to score but just wasn't the day and their CBs had a terrible match.
