Rylan Wiens and Kate Miller/Caeli McKay both win silver at the Berlin Diving WC in men’s 10m platform and women’s 10m synchro platform! Mind you there was only one Chinese entry in men’s 10m, and none in women’s 10m synchro, but Wiens was about 5 points up on his score at Doha Worlds (494.50 compared to 489.20)

Silver for Caeli McKay/Kate Miller in women’s 10m synchro at the Xi’an Diving WC, with a score of 296.10. Up 8.76 points on their Doha score, good sign heading into Paris. Some of the big pairings are absent however, such as Spendolini-Siriex/Toulson and Jin-Mi/Mi-Rae.

This is one of those medals I really hope they get. McKay and Benfeito lost the bronze in 202(1) by half a point. They outscored the Mexicans on every dive except one (and outscored the silver medalist Americans 3/5 dives). That means if one judge would have scored them 0.5 higher on one dive they would have gotten a medal. It was kind of frustrating that they didn't get it in the end, so I really hope McKay and now Miller can pull through in Paris.

Silver for Amelie-Laura Jasmin/Sonya Palkhivala in women’s 3m synchro at the Windsor WC!

Benjamin Tessier/Matt Cullen also won bronze in men’s 10m synchro.

I haven’t heard of any of them besides Tessier before today, good to see some talent on the rise.
