That's what Canada is doing For us anyone who finishes top 8 in the World Cup standings doesn't have to go through Olympic Trials, obviously the standards would have to be a lot higher, the Dutch team is much more stacked. -

Thanks, @Sindo! For Table Tennis, there's also a 'World Cup' (as the event for Mixed Teams is called) for Men's and Women's Singles at the end of March/beginning of April: https://www.ittf.com/tournament/3379/MWC_WWC_Macao2026/ Perhaps this also has the same status as the Mixed Team event and should be considered?
