Lots of her frustration with Nordic Combined dealt with the way the IOC treaded the women in Nordic Combined.

She was frustrated that they didn't rush women's nordic combined into the program for the sake of equality only, without looking at level of competition? :p

And NRK shows the Norwegian ones, but sadly it doesn't work with a VPN and without it you need to prove you're a Norwegian resident :p

Hopefully someone will put it up on YouTube.

These races are often posted on YouTube though, I believe, so just stay away from results for a day and it should be fine :p

    • ""The most important thing, in my opinion, is mental preparation" - Maria Vynnyk said this on Thursday after winning the first major gold medal; maybe this is where the secret lies. As you said, Ukrainian girls have always been strong, but not dominant at continental level; my conjecture is that the Russian invasion has made them mentally stronger, giving them that extra edge needed to tilt the balance in the final stages of a competition.
    • New NHL player additions since the last update:    Canada Jet Greaves (Columbus Blue Jackets) Gabriel Vilardi (Winnipeg Jets)    Czechia Jaroslav Chmelar (New York Rangers) Filip Hronek (Vancouver Canucks) (pending medical check) Adam Klapka (Calgary Flames)    Finland Justus Annunen (Nashville Predators) Ville Heinola (Winnipeg Jets) Olli Maatta (Calgary Flames) Aatu Raty (Vancouver Canucks)    Sweden Nils Hoglander (Vancouver Canucks) Linus Karlsson (Vancouver Canucks) Liam Ohgren (Vancouver Canucks)    United States Brock Boeser (Vancouver Canucks) Devin Cooley (Calgary Flames) Wyatt Kaiser (Chicago Blackhawks) Sam Lafferty (Chicago Blackhawks)
    • More highlights   21.89 WL for  Gabby Thomas in the women's 200m at the Kip Keino Classic,  Cambrea Sturgis not far behind in a huge PB of 21.96    Rumesh Tharanga Pathirage continues his strong stretch of form with a 89.28m effort in men's javelin throw, just off his NR of 89.37m  Sinesipho Dambile with a PB of 19.77 in the men's 200m   10.03 PB for 18 year old  Gary Card in the men's 100m at the Penn Relays
    • Does the CAS have the authority to address from someone who believes the judges made a mistake in a given discipline? Pizzolato's last attempt at Paris 2024, which earned him the bronze medal, was controversial, but what does the CAS have to do with it? Even if the judges made a mistake then, the result won't change and this isn't the only case where someone feels wronged with this in world of sports. Unless, of course, they have some evidence of corruption or something like that
    • If Pizzolato will to return, would it be to the 86 kg category, or the 94 kg category, like Nasar? In 2024, they were both in the 89 kg category, which will no longer be at the Olympics, but in 2021 in Tokyo, Pizzolato won a medal in the 81 kg category.   Of course, it's unclear what's going on with the rape accusations- personally, unfortunately, I don't think he was ever a sweet angel- he was accused of other immoral things also 10 years ago, but gang rape? I find that hard to believe... Besides, Moldova has appealed about his bronze medal from Paris 2024 to the CAS- the verdict was supposed to be in February. Do you know anything about this? Did they have any grounds for this lawsuit at all?
    • Ukraine won 6 gold medals out of 10 in the women's competotion  + 1 silver and 1 bronze. Where do they get these girls from? It's always been a strong country, but they have never dominated like this. I wonder if their training methods would work in another country and if their coaches have any offerts to job from other countries? However, there is a significant decline in women's judo in Ukraine, so maybe they have directed all their resources and money towards wrestling?   In fact, Ukraine dominates Europe as much as Japan does the world- they have the best school in women's wrestling. In 2024, Ukraine only won 1 silver medal at the Paris Olympics? So even domination in Europe doesn't guarantee even 1 gold medal at the Olympics. Although, of course, if Italy for example, can't even win 1 bronze medal at the European Championships, then there's no point in even going to the World Championships...
    • Sablikova started on the road cycling and just almost qualified for Rio 2016. Maybe Lollobrigida would like to join the Italian track team? She has the good character and 2 medals at the Olympics, one in winter and one in summer, would be a legendary achievement, not only in Italy.   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martina_Sáblíková
    • One Wiebes is worth more than the all Italian team with Balsamo/Fidanza, etc., that much clear. Even if the Netherlands loses its dominance in the men's sprint, Wiebes will win 2-3 gold medals in other events. Just relax, man.
    • I'm most worried about our women's team in the pursuit – we have a reserve squad, but not advancing to the top 8 is a shame. We recently competed with out 1 team and had not good in 1 round. It doesn't look good. And the Netherlands are already taking Wiebes to the track team and will soon dominate the Madison/Omnium as well. Balsamo and Paternoster haven't made any progress for years and the our women's team at the Olympics has little chance to win a medal. Italy might even win World Championship/European Championship gold in the years after the Olympics, etc., but when the real fight comes, the UK or the USA will always beat us
