Team Gushue is going for gold, after a 9-4 win over Scotland! :cheer::cheer:

 

Gets their revenge on Team Mouat from last years World Championships final. 
 

We’ll take on Sweden/Italy (Sweden seems more likely) in the gold medal match tomorrow at 6:00 AM PST/9:00 AM EST.

Team Gushue win silver after a 5-6 defeat to Sweden in the gold medal match. Really couldn’t have done much more in that 10th to steal, they were so close to recording the victory. Gushue is now 1-4 in World Championships gold medal matches. Not a great stat.

Kadriana Lott/Colton Lott drop their first game of round robin but are still in a great position to qualify for the playoffs at 5-1, after defeating Scotland 11-5, and losing 5-6 to Sweden.

Cross-posting this here as a big Canadian curling announcement happened today. 
 

Bottcher will be Team Homan’s new head coach, Bottcher will play mixed doubles with Homan heading into the next Olympic quad (guess I know who I won’t be cheering for), and Rachelle Brown is now the permanent alternate of the team.
