You really don’t know why or you are joking here?

I was not joking, no. I know it's problematic in head-to-head sports, but aren't there more of those than just the combat sports? Archery, badminton, breaking, track cycling, potentially shooting (of all things), climbing, tennis with and without a table would all potentially have the exact same issue, I'd assume.

It will wreck the image of the games  if countires withdraw but Russian are winning medals.

It won't wreck it. It will make for a few books to be written, maybe a documentary or even a movie or something (depending on how many nations boycott, which, again, I truly think is not going to be anywhere close to double digits), but that's about it. We've got two examples in the 80's for that.

The Olympics is struggling for hosts. 2036 is inevitably going to end in Saudi at this rate.

All the sports you mentioned are big problem (shooting especially with all these H2H finals with 2 athletes left in the final)

But combat sports are far worse for obvious reasons imo, this is COMBAT, this is one athlete fighting another in a bout...

i don't know much about this IRI vs ISR stuff but as far as i know IRI don't withdraw from all the ind sports when there is an opponent from ISR in the field (like shooting), but they say bye in the combat sports, you see the difference now?

I know comparison between UKR vs BLRUS and ISR vs IRI is not good at all but i don't want to write too much here (as i made a big mistake in the beginning using my real name here and not some nick...)

I think Bach has made it clear that he doesn't think the image will be demaged or he doesn't care, also your showing me an article where a country isn't boycotting, your really convincing me that there's gonna be a boycott, great job, keep it up.

When the British Government says soon it’s not ruling out recommending a GB boycott people might finally see what might happen. People on here don’t understand how things are in the UK.

People in the UK barely know what’s happening in the UK BUT sport and Russias war in Ukraine are both way, way, way down the list of priorities
