No, it isn't. I'm curious what your Ctrl + V thing is going to be for Cortina 2026 by the way :d

people are clearly unable to grasp that the IOC has killed the Olympics today by letting the Russians back.

Alright. Which reminds me, almost 2024, meaning the vacation system for next year will open up at work, so it's almost time to register three weeks of Olympics vacation :cheer:

Which is significantly more likely to happen than a (mass) boycott, by the way :d

Still super curious what your "Cortina 2026 will fail/be cancelled" pitch is going to be.

35 countries signed a letter going to not attend the Olympics if Russians were they but everyone seems to be forgetting that

Only Ukraine will boycot probably.

I don’t think they will

the problem will be when they have to face BLRUS in combat sports …

If a non-frequently-tested BLRUS athletes win M and/or HJ event in athletics I will be angry to put it mildly

    • I think they incorrectly translated Ukrainian word "nahorody" - it is not a full synonym of "medal". Its cocrrect translation is "award". Meanwhile russian tennis playes switched for Potapova ->  Rakhimova ->
    • Ukrainian diver Lyskun switches allegiance to Russia, loses all medals | Olympics News | Al Jazeera   'loses all medals'   I would assume Al Jazeera could have been a bit clearer and mention this would presumably only be national medals. I mean, it's not like the Ukrainian federation, or any single federation for that matter, has the power to strip her of her world and European championships medals I hope (not for her sake, but because that would be a super weird precedent)
    • That's what I'd plan as well (except for MelFest), but I also know I am hypocritical enough to still want to watch the show and have a fun evening
    • Confirmation about the broadcasting rights.   If I'm reading it right, for most of Europe it will now be exclusive to Discovery/Eurosport or whatever brand they use.     For outside Europe, it's on YouTube. • Got our first competition of the season coming up in Solitude, Utah  this weekend.  Live on Discovery Plus etc, plus also YouTube and the Olympic Channel.  If you are new to the sport, the sprint races on Saturday will be the format you'll find easy to understand.     ISMF   ISMF Skimo - YouTube
