So we already have 31 positive in weightlifting, 21 in London, 10 in Beijing. 31 from 28 athletes as Zairov, Ilyin and Khurshudyan tested positive twice in both olympics !

here is the numbers

Armenia 3 (from 2 athletes)

Azerbaijan 4 (from 3 athletes)

Belarus 4

Georgia 1

Kazakhstan 6 (from 5 athletes)

Moldova 2

Russia 7

Turkey 3

Ukraine 1

if IWF still wants to ban countries with 3 positives tests, they have to ban Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkey and maybe Armenia. I don't mention Azerbaijan as they are already banned.

and there are more rumors about Kazakh weightlifters like Sedov and Grabotskaya That will be a crime if they let Kazakhstan participate, if you take a look, out of 5 male weightlifters they are sending to Rio, 4 of them had been banned before ! Kharki, Ulanov, Zaichikov and Rahimov.

some non-official rumors said we have third and fourth wave public disclosure but they announce after rio  is it true?

From press release
"The IOC said the third and fourth waves of tests will continue throughout and after the Olympics, which run from August 5-21."

Cyclists Kiril Svehnikov and Dmitri Sokolov are also removed

only 1 cyclist left for team pursuit :mumble:

Unless he is the 3rd cyclist named in the McLaren report then there will be no one left..

Italy (it's always Italy :d)

I don't know if I have to laugh at it, or if I have to be very angry because our place (and with it the chances to set up properly an event like the Olympics, 'cause even if we get a place right now, we can't be competitive in any case, since most of our specialists already spent their energy at the recent u-23 & Junior Europeans and Worlds, so now they are basically on holidays) was originally stolen by a bunch of proven cheaters, who had never got that without illegal help...

OK, let's just take it with a smile, but just because I can be sure that even our guys are that clean (but at least they have never been caught cheating, by now)...

Other clean athletes will be cut from the Olympics because of dopers.

Come on, cheer a little bit, they will have the chance to discover the OG, the opening ceremony. Event, if they are not at the top of their game, it's still great for your giuys.

    • Yes, he is ones of the first supporters of Milei, owner of one of the most important stock market of Argentina (Bull market), he was peronist and for "unknown reasons" start to be libertarian.   Even being libertarian in my case, i have to admit that him is one of the dumbest of "Milei supporters" and a clown when  he is in TV, he made me feel  embarrassed in many occasions.   Camila Giorgi being with him is.......inconceivable.
    • Ya but the replacement is Pat Bondi, a choice that is only better in so far as Pat Bondi isn't credibly accused of having had sex with multiple underaged girls.   Also, you might recognize this name: Pete Hoekstra has been nominated to be the US ambasador to Canada.
    • Camila Giorgi has a new BF Ramiro Marra. Apparently he's some politician/journalist from Argentina. One of Milei's supporters dare I say? @LDOG@konig
    • Skeleton Tour moves on to Yanqing  this weekend.  Asian Cup races tomorrow, then the World Cup on Saturday, and then possibly more Asian Cup next weekend before everyone moves over to Altenberg for the start of the full Skeleton / Bobsleigh tour again.
    • 2-1.   But it's good to have a great champion in the squad. I've been waiting for this my whole life. I wish we had such stars in every sport.
    • But he beat Mouat, who seems to be almost unbeatable
    • Argentina has a really solid lineup, especially if they have prepared seriously for this event. Of course they don't have a champion like we do, but in this format it is enough to win 1 match to play the decisive doubles.
    • Today we must to beat Argentina. It looks like Sinner will have to win all the singles and doubles for us to defend the title. So far, the 2nd and 3rd favorites before the tournament have already been eliminated: Esp and USA.
