Many people and experts tipped Karlsson to be the one to replace Johaug as the best women distance racer, but with how Jonna is performing lately she can take the world cup easily if she focuses on it. Granted, there are no guarantees that her form will hold up through the summer and onto the new season, but right now she's looking spectacular.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
