Maybe some attempts when the field events start to get interesting instead of high jumping at 1.87m  (which I'm watching on the Eurosport Player now btw  )

Not surprising, these heats/SF are usually slower than any meeting races. The pace only picks up for SF2 when people maximize their FL chances.

Exactly, which is another reason why FL is stupid in especially longer distances.
