Right, so which of these should I pay extra attention to? I really have no idea other than knowing Chen is a 3-time world champion and being vaguely familiar with the names :d

But since there isn't really anything else going on at the moment, I want to watch how this ends!

Kagiyama has monster jumps. Judges (and tons of fans) love Uno, but he often muscles out his jumps (no flow). Cha is kind of a wild card. Can't see him on the podium though.

so who's your bet for the 3rd medalist (assuming Nathan and Kagiyama has sealed their place)?

It's the ITG... lowest quality journalism. Literally copy pastes from other sources and literally every article has errors. It's not that serious of an organization.

But they are always on location! At least, judging by 95% of their big event articles having a sentence in the intro like "At the Youth Olympic Games, here in Lillehammer".

Probably Uno still.

Surely not Yuzu? :yikes:

Well it's important! You can make sure they're save in Pyeongchang instead of Pyongyang, since they often confuse South Korea for North Korea in various articles

I see Tutberidze still on court coaching. Does it refer that she and her team including Kamila not involved in the so-called doping drama?

    • Weightlifting formula is more or less similar to 2020 which was considered terrible by everybody!    this is a tough sport, you can't be in your best shape for too many events. there will be risks of serious injuries this way. with these rules you need 5 good results to qualify. if you bomb out in an event to score a zero you are out of the Olympics unless you replace it with another event. which means most of these poor guys have to participate in 7-8 events (and not just 5) to make up for possible bomb outs.    most importantly if you get injured anytime during this period (almost 2 years) you are out of the Olympics! that's how Sohrab Moradi missed the Tokyo Olympics despite breaking the WR during the qualification period. you can miss the Olympics in 2028 if you get injured late 2026 !  Karlos Nasar couldn't win the Olympic title if we had these rules in 2024   I understand 2024 qualification formula wasn't great either, it had its own flaws but this one is much worse for threatening athletes' health.
