Every top 4 team qualify for the quarterfinals. There are no byes.

Looks like it. Almost every pair, the stronger team went to Group B.

Yeah, in situations like this it is probably better to be in the stronger group so you can avoid a tougher quarterfinal (assuming you make it out of the group).
