Mountain bike quotas have been confirmed by UCI. No surprises.

That's not official. This is just the list of nations that qualified. NOCs have to confirm their quotas by June 15.

We might see few more declined quotas, for example Sweden declining men's quota like they did in 2012. Meanwhile, mountain bike is pretty much the easiest African qualification path for South Africa (along with field hockey perhaps). I'm pretty sure that they won't accept it.

Meaning that Netherlands now gets the quota (or probably not), after that we have Austria.

Btw, South Africa won't even be send a woman to the World Championships this year in mountain bike, because nobody met the criteria. Chances for someone to get selected for Olympics despite everything should be like zero.

Netherlands in 2012 refused quota for that girl, it would be cruel to do it once again

That's right, but it's very unlikely though. In 2012 they qualified on merit and still didn't get selected. Quite unlikely that they will accept a reallocation now.

And, as heywoodu said before, all Dutch athletes are aware about what they have to do to get selected. So every Dutch female mountain bike athlete knows there's no chance to get selected after they failed to qualify.

it's still unfair because she doesn't have other 2 enough strong riders to help her
