Grassmarket 1,235 Posted May 13 #6 Share Posted May 13 Pole Vault in Doha postponed due to high winds will compete tomorrow indoors. Good news is that in the technical events it is still three best only in the sixth round of the technicals, but scores from rounds 1-5 do now carry forward. Alison dos Santos continues to impress with a 47.24 in the 400h. Doha takes a radical new approach to the whole uneven lines issue in the big throws by having no lines at all. Aha! Last minute change of direction. Javelin throwers taking advantage of the wind! Peppering the 90m line, if there was a line. Woah! Anderson Peters 93.07 AR! 5th on the all-time list! World Indoor HJ Champ Woo continues his breakthrough year with a first timer at 2.33. Tamberi out early, though. LuizGuilherme

Monzanator 1,929 Posted May 13 #9 Share Posted May 13 It seems like the high winds that postponed the pole vault actually helped the javelin results? Niyonsaba back to her old testosterone tricks
