  1. Actually yes, thanks for the tip (I hope this doesn't get blocked later since that's what happened with every single international streaming of the Pan Ams here) They're showing a Volleyball match with just one camera (but at least it's something) and apparently will broadcast Table Tennis later.
  2. Honestly I wish they could broadcast Volleyball (always a good level because of USA/Brazil) and maybe Football (even though this is not a qualification event for Paralympics). I would add Goalball to that list too but this is not a very TV-friendly sport IMO. About individual sports, Track Cycling and Powerlifting should definitely be among the broadcast sports.
  3. Funny they'll show Badminton when this sport was not available for broadcast at the Pan Ams (for instance, men's singles final was shown here from a camera at the side of the court, which wasn't great). Maybe because it's a new sport both here and at the Paralympics and they wanna see how it goes?
  4. It's a circus. Each day Brazil is getting worse. Maybe people need the suffering so that in four years they elect someone else.
  5. Apparently only Athletics, Swimming, Wheelchair Basketball and Rugby + ceremonies will be broadcast.
  6. That is worrying since this was the Olympic selection event for some nations.
  7. It most definitely will (at least in Brazil SporTV will show the competition in some sports like Athletics and Swimming).
  8. Parapan American Games 2019 Lima (PER) - 23 August 2019 - 1 September 2019 Official Website
  9. In case anyone is interested, here's a medal table considering Olympic events only (forgive me for possible mistakes).
  10. Curious enough, 1995 Games remain the one with most events (432).
  11. Brazil ends with 171 medals (55 45 71). Our record for most medals in one edition (previously was 157 in 2007) and most golds (52 also from 2007) + our best place in the medal table. Nice results even though this means very little in terms of Olympic prospects. Still, I think Brazil can reach 15-20 medals in Tokyo.
  12. It's a bad result but athletes are seeking Olympic qualification in both Volleyball and Beach Volleyball so Pan Ams shouldn't be the main focus. What they should do IMO is send only young players in both sports, maybe it would be a good experience for them.
  13. I can only imagine some of the Bodybuilding athletes will have problems with doping, especially because for many this is the first experience with a competition like this. We'll know in the coming weeks.
  14. Bad scheduling in Volleyball as Argentina played a match almost past midnight and today will play for bronze at 9AM. (despite this, they might actually win the medal since their team is better than Brazil's)
  15. And there it is. Gold in women's Basketball. By far the most unexpected medal for Brazil at these Games (most thought we would be out in group phase). Well done
  16. Guilherme Costa's gold medal gives Brazil its best performance ever in Swimming and overall
  17. Apparently Racquetball matches take forever
  18. Still no gold at Pan Ams for Yuri Alvear.
  19. With gold medals in Judo and Karate, Brazil now tied its best result ever (52). Brazil four medals away of surpassing our best result ever (157). *actually only 2 medals to our best result ever: Rio 2007: 52 40 65 Lima 2019: 52 39 65
  20. So in addition to being a bodybuilder, you have to dance and do some gymnastics
  21. Grenada close to winning its first ever gold medal.
