I hope we'll get most proposals at least by November, when the Federations submit them to the IOC. The IOC probably won't veto the vast majority of them anyway (if any at all).

Eventing is one of the most unpredictable discipilines in all of summer sports. The German team had one error too much in the endurance competition. Get used to it, it will become even more unpredictable at the Olympics with only three competitors per team and without a drop result.

Weishaupt kept the slim chances for an individual medal alive.

It is very hard, but I won't rule it out, especially since Sweden and Ireland don't have a drop result. Belgium will definitely rank ahead of Italy, though.

That's not good. It means Germany starts with at least roughly 8 penalty points. Weishaupt definitely needs a good round, now.

Does this round just serve as a qualification with the best riders/teams qualifying for the next round, or is this important for the end result?

How does Horse Riding in the relay work? Does rider 2 from each nation start, once rider 1 finished the course? Or how do they do it?

in GER they will show the 2018 games on 2 of their FTA channels + the 2 Eurosport paid channels + the Eusp360 service...which is always a perfect coverage, but it's still a mostly paid offer...and many fans don't like that...

That's from a very old post and since ARD and ZDF will broadcast anyway, it doesn't really matter. But Eurosport 1 is no pay TV in Germany. It's free TV, here.

I have a question: Some of the riders (for example Josefa Sommer and Kai Rüder from Germany) only count for the individual competition and don't count for the team, even if they will rank better as for example Krajewski? Is that right?
