  1. Wow ! They are really into all details Dental clinics ready at Beijing 2022 ice hockey venues As the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 draws closer, dental clinics have been installed at Wukesong Sports Centre and National Indoor Stadium, both of which will host ice hockey competitions during the Games. Fan Qing, a medical manager at Wukesong Sports Centre, said that dental injuries are not uncommon among ice hockey players, making on-site dental services a necessity. "Basic treatment related to athletes' teeth can be conducted in a timely manner at the clinics that are 35 meters away from hockey rinks, and equipment for CT dental scans is available at the venues as well," Fan said. He added that players with severe dental injuries will be rushed to designated hospitals for surgery. "The medical services have met the standards set by the International Olympic Committee and the International Ice Hockey Federation," Fan noted. https://www.beijing2022.cn/wog.htm?cmsid=20211224004026 Old players must laugh at this new "primadonas" generation as the old players pulled their teeth out themselves.

  12. Attempt of Slovak Christmas in Red Deer last night. After a short prayer and a cup of non-alcoholic champagne aperitif the Christmas Eve dinner began. Since for logical reason we have not a cook there our team was forced to ask the local hotel cooks to try cook a classic slovak christmas dinner... well, it did not turn the best... (especially the christmas sauerkraut soup which should be like this ..well, you know a soup...turned to be the not a soup like this ) but the effrot was still appreciated, and the fish (however they could not a find a carp sadly) and the "schnitzel" with potato mayonnaise salad was ok according to the guys Afer the dinner as our traditions determine, the players found a gift under the tree (a headphones and vitamines)
