  1. Right, I’m not worried necessarily about world domination. I’m more worried about the social consequences of the actions people are taking, but that might just be the psychologist and caretaker inside of me.
  2. Even if, in my opinion, it’s a rise in the wrong direction. What’s interesting is the similarities between are current time period and WW2
  3. I don’t mean this in a bad way, but sometimes people just don’t like dominant or shady (by western standards) countries. I think that he’s just frustrated that China wins everything and sometimes tends to get away supposed cheating (Sun Yang for example).
  4. Alright, just wanted to update y’all on the scary situation we had earlier. The user sought help and according to his words, is in good hands. I want to thank @vinipereira for his help tracking down the user, so I could check in on him. I wish him a happy life and a good recovery back to excellent health. If you, another user, or anyone else you know needs help, don’t hesitate to look for it. I unfortunately have multiple memorial benches at my high school and I don’t want to see any of you in that situation. If you have further questions feel free to ask. If you need someone to talk to, feel free to DM anytime. See y’all around.
  5. I can’t get him to contact me. Does anyone know his social media info?
  6. Hey man, there are people who care about you here. If you need someone to talk to DM me immediately, please. If you don’t feel comfortable talking to me, call this number please: 1-800-273-8255. Your life matters. I’ve really enjoyed your presence on this forum and I’d hate to see it end. Please talk to anyone. Please, please, please. I can tell from experience that it feels horrible when someone close to you feels this way. Please contact me, or a loved one, or a complete stranger. I don’t want this to be your last post, and I would love to see you make it way into the future.

  8. Feel like there’s not a lot to gain from doping in shooting. I could be wrong, but I feel right
  9. Right, but there is something to be said about the ugliness of conflict for all involved. Of course I wasn’t alive when all of this went down (and I believe the right outcomes were reached). You have to remember that history two sides and that it’s better to try to make peace than make more ethic and political divides. Im just a simple 18 year old though, what do I know?
  10. As I did in my post (but hey, that’s what you should expect from a potential communications major)
  11. @Master Welcome to our forum! Feel free to look around and post anywhere
  12. I was reading the history of the war recently. I was interested in it because people still talk about here in the US. However, I definitely say that there was bad decisions made on all sides of the conflict, and that civilians should have never been involved. I’m sorry about the effect it had on your country.
  13. Couldn’t come up with anything witty, but here’s the commercial I really like with someone familiar
  14. This has always killed me. Huge fan, love the dude, but come on man have some basic tactical sense
  15. Ok, so it’s not like the Pan Am’s where nations can enter athletes in any races they want so long as they have a quota. An athlete must be qualified in track cycling and road cycling to be eligible for an additional (unqualified) event?
  16. Ah, good to see a mid-level nation get more quotas
  17. @JoshMartini007 Have I interpreted the qualification document right? If so, is it possible for a nation who qualified a road athlete to also enter them in a track event? Theoretically Algeria wants to compete in the sprint, could they?
  18. Right, but they’ve given themselves a few chances/options this cycle
  19. Well in the span of two weeks, Burkina Faso has gone from very little chances of qualifying to the Olympics in an Sport other than Track or Swimming, to 2 fair chances. Bravo
  20. First ever Netherlands appearance? Maybe an Independent Pan American Athlete type situation.
