  1. That depends so badly on the airport I found Munich to be a huge maze, whereas for example Innsbruck is so freaking tiny it's impossible to get lost I'll try to post a few photos from cycling around the woods here recently, although they were made quickly by phone, so they're nowhere near as good as the Irish ones
  2. Sure, with depth I meant relatively speaking then. 2005 was the last year three guys ran under 47.50 and the fastest of those was still slower than what Samba, Warholm and Benjamin have done in the past 12 months or so. Crazy strong top-3 then.
  3. It's what I'm fearing, exactly "Yeah but Samba and Warholm and Benjamin, no way that'll happen!" Sure, Bondarenko and Barshim and several others were gonna regularly jump over 2.40m for years and break the WR too....until they didn't
  4. Men's shot put and men's 400m hurdles have crazy depth all of a sudden (although for shot put it has been going on for a while but it just keeps going)
  5. A 36-year old mother of one who's been keeping her body in excellent condition all her life one can assume. Life ain't fair.
  6. If Germany hosts 2036, the good thing is 'The '36 Olympics' will from then on by something not dominated by thoughts of Hitler (depending on what happens in the next 17 years of course, just assuming there's not a new Hitler on the rise)
  7. Awesome ants https://phys.org/news/2019-07-seed-harvesting-ants-nestmates-spiderwebs.html
  8. Time for the men to protest
  9. Ah, got it. That website is a remnant of something that won't happen It will in fact be in London in September. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_World_Para_Swimming_Championships
  10. Are you sure? https://www.paralympic.org/london-2019
  11. Right, we never have to see that race back on the calendar https://www.procyclingstats.com/race/adriatica-ionica-race/2019/stage-6 The entire sprint was disrupted because cars were driving in the way in the last kilometer, while in the last 10km everywhere there were cars standing right on the road Overall this was a disaster race.
  12. Well that's some more criminals gone, at least, instead of innocent people.
  13. Brass knuckles are legal too?
  14. Oh absolutely, not denying that. Just saying the kind of 'regular' crime (robberies, break ins) happens everywhere, of course not everywhere in the same amount.
  15. I'd still go to every place I want to go in the US without worry (apart from a general feeling of uneasiness whenever I walk in a big city no matter where it is in the world, but that has nothing to do with potential mass attacks).
  16. That's literally everywhere in the world though.
  17. If the live stream is showing artistic swimming now, it works here (and I'm back out because artistic swimming).
  18. No problems here. It might be due to me not having tried it yet.
  19. Apart from that, it's just another mass shooting events with exactly the same reactions as always: "If only we had more guns, this guy would have been stopped" vs "Everything from this to me breaking a toe is Trump's fault"
  20. Here it pretty much only reached the news because it was at a garlic festival of all places, with the most common reactions being sort of like "WTF there's a garlic festival?"...
  21. Nope, sorry (I'd keep an eye on AUS Biathlon's Facebook page). I can ask around for more info on the Egyptian, if I can't find it now I'll try when I see the Australian team in the winter season
  22. Not even 'wants to get rid off', if I'm not mistaken it's already been killed off with Tokyo 2020 being the last time it's held in a major event (at least until it's brought back one day, who knows).
  23. Wait, that has not been decided yet? One year before the Olympics?
  24. Oooooh scandal 36% (!) only enough for 10th place, wtf
  25. First few competitions are over. Wisla men's individual: Timi Zajc Wisla men's team: Poland Hinterzarten mixed team: Germany Hinterzarten women's individual: Sara Takanashi Hinterzarten men's individual: Karl Geiger* *Gregor Schlierenzauer finished second by only 0,4 points, would have been his first real win since he won a SGP competition in September 2015.
