  1. Too bad it's only a small company, but at least someone isn't completely losing their shit after a mistake. Wise words. Oh, and more wise words coming from this dude (who's opinion about it means more than that of any of us white folks, one might say):
  2. Jesus, talk about overreacting bullshit. He was being dumb, the only normal, adult way to react to that is to apologize (like he did) and everyone going on with their life. But yeah, 'Murica. Take your guns to the supermarket and whatnot, but say a wrong word and they push your career down the cliffs. Goddamn idiots. Almost not sure what's worse, those hypocritical Americans who can only talk about words by referring to their first letter ('the n-word', 'the f-word' and so on, grow up man), or someone making a mistake and being kicked out almost immediately. 'Land of the free, home of the brave', my ass.
  3. Trump's accomplishments are low, but even worse could be simply the way he talks. I hear leaders from all kinds of countries talk about their situation, about what they're doing and what people should be doing, and so on. When Trump is droning in his automated, monotonous buzz though, I am not exaggerating when I say more than half of what he says is not about anything useful or important, but about how incredibly impressed 'a lot of people' and 'other countries' are! That is just insane, it has absolutely nothing to do with the situation, it's as if he's jerking off right there to these thoughts. "We've increased the numbers of hospital beds to levels nobody can even believe. We've been making ventilators, a lot of ventilators, people can't even believe how many there are, nobody has ever made this many before. There are other countries, big big producing countries, who produce a lot of things, they're saying they can not believe how much we've been producing." WTF man, that's just completely not what you should be saying, at all Nobody gives two fucks. Obviously I know everyone on here is smart enough to understand Trump is nothing more than an idiot, but still, dude.
  4. Question 1: Would you like to see a once-off special contest to be held this summer with the final being held at some point during the old Olympic schedule? (a) Yes Question 2: Would you like it to be a themed contest? For example (sports themed, movie themed, instrumental themed, talent show themed, any other themed)? (a) Yes Question 3: If we have a themed contest, which type of theme do you prefer? Please answer even if you answered "No" to Question 2. (d) Instrumental themed --- Questions 2 and 3 are answered with 'yes' for 1 in mind, but I'm roughly 50/50 for question 1. It'd probably be fun and all, but I'm also not sure I'd be that interested to invest a decent amount of time in it
  5. But not in the other sports, as far as I know?
  6. Is 11 May actually the end for France (seems weird, considering there's still so many deaths), or is it extended until that day for now?
  7. For those with a decent seeding system, yes. In so far two bronze medals are even necessary at all.
  8. Just take care not to go too far down the conspiracy hole. Some people just want everything to be a big conspiracy.
  9. Next few rumours: Tour de France in August, Vuelta a España in September, Giro d'Italia in October. Yeah, don't see that happening
  10. Yes, that's what I mentioned: it escaped from a lab after the epidemic, when they were doing research. You made it sound like SARS-CoV was created in a lab or something and then leaked
  11. Yes, but what you wrote literally says "anyone who caught the virus". That is just not true, a large number of people who catch the virus develop mild symptoms or no symptoms at all. Way more than the number of people whose lungs are destroyed.
  12. It got out of a lab after the epidemic (it was never a pandemic) while research was being done, I can't find any reliable source saying the SARS epidemic (again, not a pandemic) started because it was leaked from a lab. Some link to substantiate the claim would be nice.
  13. That is just blatantly untrue though.
  14. In the end repechages are just unnecessary anyway, with boxing (where two losing semi-finalists being too injured to compete again is arguably more realistic than in the other sports) as exception, possibly.
  15. It's a little pathetic to pretend only the women do that and call them sluts, but say nothing about the men who arguably do the exact same thing if not even more (Yes hello Radek) More about the legends please, I'm now interested
  16. Robson was 16 apparently. Teenagers saying dumb teenager stuff
  17. Someone didn't date Radek Stepanek? WTF Shocker of the year
  18. Stupid question or not, I'm curious as well Personally I'd go for judo, where you at least have to reach a certain stage yourself - independent from who you've fought - to be able to fight for medals.
  19. When I checked yesterday or the day before I noticed the growth was not increasing anymore, but was sort of steady at roughly 80-85k new cases per day.
  20. I had no idea he is a 4 time Olympian Feels like one of those many athletes who are there but never stand out
  21. They do though, but sure
  22. So you're a racist colonial lover who is also against apartheid and such. Now that's a difficult combination to juggle around, rather hypocritical indeed
  23. Some people are pathetic..
  24. That's all fine and dandy for them to agree that, but in the end it's just really not their say It's their plan of course, but they aren't the ones who'll decide on a continuation.
  25. To be fair, to someone who never in his life heard of 'Planes, Trains and Automobiles' (me), the other name sounds a lot more funny
