Smart to get up and finish anyway, just in case tomorrow's last training is cancelled like the first one.

    But especially for Kilde I'm not sure he is that much better that he can make up for all the speed points he loses. He definitely has the potential, but isn't there yet.

    Kilde has the talent, but like Federer said, just not the consistency. Of course that can change with years, people improve after all, but at the moment he simply needs more than what he has (or shows). Kriechmayr and Mayer also don't seem consistent enough (though more than Kilde I'd say) to really fight for the overall globe..

    I highly doubt that. One can imagine they think so of a random African country in between several Muslim countries, but Belarus? Nah.

    But I doubt more than 10% of Americans has ever even heard of Belarus, so why would they care? It's not a muslim country as far as I know, so the whole "It's just a muslim ban packaged as a travel ban!" doesn't fly there.

    At least two of the three wins came from (slight) favourites at the bookmakers, which suggests it's not a huge upset if it is one

    This YOG is weird. First a mixed ski jumping event with Nordic combiners where several teams (including Germany!) have a non-starter and then this Nordic mixed team with I assume one male and female jumper and one male and female skier? Thanks though, I couldn't find it in the schedule of any of these sports.
