    The Dutch men did well And with Korea doing what they're supposed to do, and USA and India not really doing what they're supposed to do but in exactly the right way (for NED), that gives the Dutch an excellent medal chance. I'm assuming Indonesia or Great Britain would need a major upset to keep the Netherlands out of the semis, after which it will be a battle against a China (or is Australia a danger for them?).

    It's nice they have a 15 minute highlights video on Eurosport for both ranking rounds, but I had hoped that would be with some sort of commentator who'd tell a little about how the top athletes did and such. Now it's just 15 minutes of watching seemingly random athletes shoot single arrows without even seeing where they land or getting any indication on the scores whatsoever until you skip to 14 minutes and they show the results

    That was quite the start for the Dutch team! I mean, not very surprising since these are four strong boats, all of them medal contenders (not counting the single sculls), but it's good to see the shape is excellent

    @Fly_like_a_don Great job on the polls these past months! I didn't have time (or knowledge, in many cases) to answer all of them, but it was really cool to see all these different questions As for this one: top-10 is fairly realistic, 9th and even 8th are definitely possible. Anything higher would be rather surprising, anything significantly lower would be a little disappointing.

    Yesterday someone somewhere posted a link to the Olympics website, where one could find daily PDF's (only one as of yesterday) with detailed information about positive test numbers (anonymous, sort of). Can't find it anywhere though, anyone got a clue?

    Sjef van den Berg will retire after these Olympics, he can't handle the absolutely maddening and as good as daily attacks of head- and neckaches any longer than until Tokyo is done.

    And it's not like it was hard to get for most Brazilian athletes....even those in winter sports already either got it or had the chance to get it..

    A shitload of websites is unavailable in the Netherlands since 15 minutes or so, think banks, supermarkets, major newspapers, many things. Appararently the same thing is going on in Germany. Anything in your countries? Sounds like some sort of DDOS attack aimed at a DNS provider or something...
